As a mature student at the University of Essex, I'm compelled to bring my wealth of experience to a new arena – the role of VP Southend. My journey as a student in this vibrant community has ignited a passion for enhancing the student experience. I am motivated to leverage my administrative expertise, coupled with my current insights as a student, to champion initiatives that will elevate Southend Campus. From fostering better communication to addressing the unique needs of mature and young students, I am committed to creating a thriving environment for every student irrespective of gender, age, background etc. I believe in inclusive leadership, community building, collaborative advocacy for all causes, transparent governance and finding innovative solutions with visionary planning. I possess the high emotional intelligence and social intelligence and forward-thinking, so I find myself a better fit into the role.
